Westminster Q112: What is required in the third commandment?

(Mat 11:9) "But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and one who is more than a prophet.

(Deu 28:58) "If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law which are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the LORD your God,

(Psa 29:2) Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in holy array.

(Psa 68:4) Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts, Whose name is the LORD, and exult before Him.

(Rev 15:3-4) And they *sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations! "Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For ALL THE NATIONS WILL COME AND WORSHIP BEFORE YOU, FOR YOUR RIGHTEOUS ACTS HAVE BEEN REVEALED."

Why should God be angry on account of your voice and destroy the work of your hands?

(Psa 105:2,5) Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders. . . Remember His wonders which He has done, His marvels and the judgments uttered by His mouth,
