Q59: Who are made partakers of redemption through Christ?
A59: Redemption is certainly applied, and effectually communicated, to all those for whom Christ hath purchased it;[1] who are in time by the Holy Ghost enabled to believe in Christ according to the gospel.[2]
  1. (Eph 1:13-14) In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory.

    (Joh 6:37, 39) "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. . . "This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.

  2. (Eph 2:8) For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
